ISSF International Development Courses

Introduction

The ISSF Training Academy provides a range of international courses starting with the basic ‘C’ Course and culminating in the ‘A’ Course for highest level international coaches. As progress is made through each course the coaches are expected to put the knowledge they have gained from the course to practical use and to build a comprehensive history of their work. The course goals are set to achieve the highest performance standards on both a national and international basis and to harmonise the standards of the coach education systems amongst the member federations. The courses cover a wide range of subject material in detail to provide the participant with a strong grounding from which to improve and guide their coaching skills. Subject materials are delivered by a combination of home study and classroom activities in a manner which promotes learning and knowledge acquisition.
