300m Rifle 3 Positions W – Polish trio scored new World Record

The Polish women team scored a new 300m Rifle Three Positions women world record, outdoing the United States of America and Germany. Ollsen, from Norway, won the individual competition.

Sylwia Bogacka, Karolina Kowalczyk and Alicja Ziaja, the 300-meter Rifle Polish team, marked 1727 points during today’s 300m Rifle 3 Positions Women team event, setting a new world record.

The United States of America (Reya Kempley, Sandra Fong and Rhonda Bright) finished in second place, securing the Teams’ Silver medal with an overall score of 1723 points, while Germany (Eva Fridel. Sonja Pfeilschifter, Beate Gauss) closed the match in third place with a total of 1716 points.

The individual competition was won by Norway’s Gyda Ellefsplas Olssen, who fired today’s highest score, 583 points and 18 inner tens, to become the new World Champion in this event.

One of the world’s strongest 300-meter shooter, the Danish multi-medallist Charlotte Jakobsen, placed in second with a total of 583 points and 17 hits in the inner tens, leaving the home shooter Eva Fridel in third place with 578 points and the Bronze medal.
