Athletes Committee Elections - All the Results

The participating athletes of the 50th ISSF World Shooting Championship in Munich in July/August 2010 had elected their representatives and the four athletes with the highest number of votes are elected as members of the ISSF Athletes Committee. According to the rules the ISSF Executive Committee had appointed three additional members using the list of all candidates for the election. This selection has to guarantee a balance between continents, genders and disciplines. Further the ISSF Executive Committee has to elect the Chairman out of the members of the Athletes Committee.

The Athletes had elected the following four athletes:

Mr. Abhinav BINDRA from India (Rifle)

Mr. Rajmond DEBEVEC from Slovenia (Rifle)

Mr. Franck DUMOULIN from France (Pistol)

Mr. Vladimir ISAKOV from Russia (Pistol)

The ISSF Executive Committee has appointed the following three athletes:

Mr. Juha HIRVI from Finland (Rifle)

Mrs. Susan NATTRASS from Canada (Shotgun)

Ms. Zuzana STEFECEKOVA from Slovakia (Shotgun)

Further the ISSF Executive Committee unanimously elected as Chairman of the Athletes Committee:

Mr. Juha HIRVI from Finland (Rifle)

Finally we are pleased to publish the election of the athletes Committee in detail as following:

• 828 athletes had given their votes

• A total of 2705 votes had been given by these 828 athletes

• 5 Invalid voting ballots had been given
