SportWorks, the company in charge of the management of the logistic of the 2012 ISSF World Cup in London, which will take place next April, informs the National Federations whishing to participate in the event that deadlines are fast approaching.
All National Federtion are therefore strongly encouraged to complete the required entries and applications as soon as possible. The Organizing Committee is indeed wishing to receive all the documents with sufficient time to process all the relevant paperwork.
Accommodation
Next year will be an extremely busy one for accommodation in London and we have worked hard to secure officials hotels to suit a range of budgets and requirements. The deadline for preliminary hotel requirements is 17th January but we strongly recommend that you book early to secure your preferred option as hotels are filling up fast. It is important that you use the official hotels to ensure you have access to the official transport and security-cleared access to the venue.
Firearms Permits
It is vitally important that you apply for the relevant firearms permits AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. We understand that National Federations are unlikely to confirm which athletes will be attending until closer to the event. You should therefore apply for permits NOW for everyone who might attend the ISSF World Cup. If you don’t apply until you have confirmed your final entries there may be insufficient time to process the relevant paperwork. I have attached further documentation which I hope will enable you to process your application.
