Russia stands atop of the intermediate medal standings after eight events in Lonato

ISSF World Championship Shotgun · Lonato, ITA

With just two events left, the Russian Federation, the United States of America and Italy stand on the first three places of the standings. However, China and Slovakia are the only countries with two individual titles.

No surprises in Lonato. With just two events left in the calendar, the medal standings celebrate the countries that walked on the podiums of the 2015 Shotgun season more often.

The Russian Federation is in 1st position with a total of 4 Gold, 6 Silver and 1 Bronze medals. Behind them, United States of America and Italy claimed a total of 8 medals each, with the USA occupying the 2nd place with 3 Golds, 2 Silvers and 3 Bronzes; and Italy standing in 3rd with 2 Gold, 5 Silvers and 1 Bronze medals.

Most of the medals of these three countries, anyway, arrived thanks to the team performances, as the only two national teams who have been able to claim more than one individual Gold, are People's Republic of China and Slovakia, both with two.

The ISSF World Championship will continue tomorrow with the Skeet Men and Skeet Men Junior qualifications, and it will conclude on Thursday with the last two finals: the Skeet Men, scheduled at 5:15 PM (GMT+2) and the Skeet Men Junior at 6:15 PM.
