Shooting Sport Federation of Kosovo accepted as a full member of the ISSF

The ISSF Administrative Council accepted the request of affiliation of the Shooting Sport Federation of Kosovo.

The Shooting Sport Federation of Kosovo is a new member federation of the International Shooting Sport Federation, following a decision taken by the ISSF Administrative Council, that discussed the request of affiliation during its last meeting.

The ISSF Executive Committee and the ISSF Administrative Council held their annual meetings at the Arzaga Palace in Lonato, Italy, on the 8th and 9th of September.

On that occasion, the Administrative Committee voted and decided to accept the application of affiliation and admitted the Shooting Sport Federation of Kosovo as a full member of the International Shooting Sport Federation.

“We are welcoming you as a new member and we are certainly looking forward to have your shooters participating in all our ISSF supervised Competitions and Championships.” The ISSF President Mr. Olegario Vazquez Raña and the ISSF Secretary General Franz Schreiber stated in their letter addressed to the Shooting Sport Federation of Kosovo.

“It is our great pleasure to welcome your federation as a new member in our big international shooting family and we trust in a good and fruitful collaboration with the development of our shooting sport.”

With the affiliation of Shooting Sport Federation of Kosovo, the International Shooting Sport Federation now counts 165 member federations across Africa, America, Asia, Europe and Oceania.
