Updated ISSF Eligibility, Commercial Rights and Sponsorship/Advertising Rules

The ISSF Executive Committee met in Munich, Germany, on the 1st of March 2016, approving an update of the ISSF Eligibility, Commercial Rights and Sponsorship/Advertising Rules

The ISSF Executive Committee approved an update of the ISSF Eligibility, Commercial Rights and Sponsorship/Advertising Rules.

 

The updated rules are immediately effective and will be included in the 4th print of the ISSF Rulebook, to be published soon.

 

The updated ISSF Eligibility, Commercial Rights and Sponsorship/Advertising Rules are already available for download at: http://www.issf-sports.org/documents/rules/2013/Eligibility_4thPrint.pdf

 

Main updates include a change in Table 1 “Special Rules for Sponsor Markings”: restrictions to sponsor markings on guns have been dismissed.

 

Please, note that these rules do not apply for the Olympic Games.

 

Please be aware that for the Olympic Games, IOC Rule 50, Advertising, Demonstrations and Propaganda, and the accompanying publication “Guidelines Regarding Authorized Identifications” apply.
