“The performances of the shooters have been excellent here in Rio. In the qualification ranges they’ve had the perfect conditions to shoot and a new World Record has been shot. Unfortunately, as we all know, the finals hall needs some adjustments, but despite this two other Final World Records were equalled or set.” Said the ISSF Secretary General, Mr. Franz Schreiber. “I feel that now that they got to know the range and got used to it they’re all happy about it.”
Three new world records were equalled or set during the competition.
