New course from the IOC: Female Athlete Health

The course, made of fifteen modules, is available on the Olympic Resources website.

The International Olympic Committee is offering a new interactive course about Female Athlete Health. The ISSF is pleased to promote this interactive course and to encourage all of its female athletes to visit the IOC website to get acquainted with this course and to complete all its modules.

The course is made of fifteen modules: each of them includes videos, facts and short quizzes, and they all contain a lot of nice graphic explanations of the topics. It is neither boring or burdensome.

Every topic is informative and valuable to all female athletes. You can complete them all, or just the modules on topics that interest you.

These topics include:

  • Bone Health
  • Contraception
  • Eating Disorders
  • Exercise & Pregnancy
  • Injury Prevention
  • Menstrual Health
  • Nutrition
  • Pelvic Floor Dysfunction
  • Psychology
  • RED-S
  • Sexual Harassment & Abuse
  • Paralympic Training Recommendations

If you are interested in taking this very informative interactive course, click here to access the Olympic Resources page. You will be asked to create your own profile and the rest is pretty easy.
