ISSF World Cup in Acapulco: day 8 preview

The Skeet Men final match will close the curtain on the second ISSF World Cup stage of the season, which took place in Acapulco (MEX) since March 17th. The fifth and last final will be streamed live on www.issf-sports.org and on the Federation’s official Facebook page.

One last final is scheduled to take place in Acapulco, where the ISSF World Cup Stage 2 took place since March 17th.

 

Two shooters concluded the first three rounds of qualification with 74 target hits out of 75: Italy’s 28-year-old Marco Sablone, participating here in his second career World Cup after finishing in 80th place in Beijing (CHN) in 2011, and Mexico’s experienced shooter Javier Rodriguez (52).

 

Another Mexican athlete, 21-year-old Carlos Segovia Gonzalez, temporarily took the 3rd place with  73 hits, the same score nailed by Puerto Rico’s Luiz Bermudez (41).

 

The third local flag bearer, 20-year-old Luis Raul Gallardo Oliveros also finished among the top positions, placing 6th with 72 target hits, preceded by Australia’s Paul Adams (24) and followed by Dominican Republic’s Stafano Hazoury (27), both with 72 as well.

 

The Italian National Team, who won both the Gold and the Silver medals at the first ISSF World Cup stage of the season in New Delhi (IND), will also enlist Valerio Andreoni. He placed in 30th position after the first three rounds with 69 hits.

The Skeet Men final is scheduled at 2:00 pm (UTC-6:00) and it will be streamed live on the ISSF website, on its Livestream channel and on its official Facebook page.
