ISSF rejects false allegations of Vice President Luciano Rossi

In a recent letter to all ISSF Member Federations, and in a subsequent open letter distributed to the media, ISSF Vice President Luciano Rossi attacked the 2020 Olympic Shooting Program recommendations submitted by the ISSF to the IOC last February, providing ISSF Member Federations, media and stakeholders with false information.

ISSF Meetings: Tokyo 2020 recommendation, Agenda 2020 implementations and Championships designation

The ISSF Executive Committee and Administrative Council unanimously approved the recommendation for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic program that aims to achieve gender equality and retain 15 Olympic events. Agenda 2020 implementation and designation of 2018 / 2019 ISSF Championships organizers were also among key decisions taken during the meetings.

The ISSF Executive Committee and the ISSF Administrative Council will meet in New Delhi, India, on 21 and 22 February 2017, to discuss the ISSF Ad Hoc Committee conclusions and further consider all factors and opinions regarding recommendations for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic shooting program that the ISSF will submit to the IOC before its 28 February 2017 deadline.
