50th ISSF World Championship All Events · Munich, GER

Over 2100 shooters have already registered to take part in the 50th ISSF World Championship in all events, that will be held in at the 1972 Olympic Shooting Range of Munich starting form the 29th of July.

2110 shooters, coming from 63 nations, have registered to take part in the 50th ISSF World Championship in all events, that will be held at the 1972 Olympic Shooting Range of Munich starting form the next 29th of July. A record number of 3900 starts in 55 different shooting events (Shotgun, Pistol, Rifle, Running Target) have been registered so far, and the numbers are still growing, as the preliminary entries are not completed yet.

The first Quota Places to enter the 2012 Olympic Games of London will be awarded in Munich, and therefore the Championship was announced to be a record-breaking competition. But the final entries will probably surprise even the most optimistic forecast: a few nations have not completed the entry process yet, and the number of countries could grow up to 80 and over.

The 50th ISSF World Championship will take place between the 29th of July and the 11th of August 2010 in Munich. Keep on following issf-sports.org for more news about the event through the season!
