8th Asian Airgun Championship opened in New Delhi

The 10-metre Air Rifle and Air Pistol competition is telecasted live on Star Sports

The 8th Asian Airgun Championship kicked-off in New Delhi, where the competition is held from the 25th of September through the 1st of October.

 

Asian athletes will compete in Air Rifle and Air Pistol events, in three different categorises: Youth, Junior, and Senior, in men's and women's events.

 

The competition is conducted according to the International Shooting Sport (ISSF) and Asian Shooting Confederation (ASC) rules and regulations, and includes team events.

 

The event takes place at the Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Ranges in New Delhi, India, a facility equipped with 80 10-metre firing points, Sius-Ascor electronic targets and scoring equipment, and a separate Finals range.

 

Final matches are telecasted live on Star Sports.
