Rabat passes the torch to Cairo

The ISSF Grand Prix in Rabat (Morocco) which came to an end on February 6th was the first official ISSF Championship in the conditions of COVID-19 after a nearly year's break. It was organized in compliance with all safety standards during the pandemic. The competition was positively assessed by the participants which gives confidence in the successful holding of the the 2022 World Cup in Rabat — the ISSF Championship to take place in Morocco next year.

Now the torch passes to the second country on the African continent - Egypt which will host the World Cup Shotgun from February 22nd to March 5th.

By now 34 countries from Africa, Asia, America, and Europe have submitted preliminary applications for participation having registered 311 athletes.

The program of the World Cup in Cairo includes not only Individual and Mixed Team events but Team events as well. Also the participation of international Mixed Teams composed by athletes who do not have a pair from their country will be allowed for the first time .
