Former leader and new country in the Medal standing in Peru

ISSF Junior World Championship Rifle / Pistol / Shotgun · Lima, PER

5 medals from the USA, 3 from India, 2 from Italy, France and Germany and the first medal from Slovakia - the ISSF Junior World Championship Rifle / Pistol / Shotgun continues in Peru, Lima.

For the first time at the World Championship, juniors competed for medals in 4 team events.

 

In 50m Rifle Prone Mixed Team Junior the best result was shown by WEINDORF Larissa and BRAUN Max from Germany. In the Gold Medal Match, they were more accurate than MCGHIN Molly Elizabeth and PEISER Braden Wayne from USA. Sportsmen from USA TUCKER Mary Carolynn and BARNICK Gavin Raymond Leigh won a Bronze medal.

 

In 25m Pistol Team Women Junior athletes from India SANGWAN Rhythm, KAPOOR Naamya, BHAKER Manu took the First place. Indians already have won 9 Gold medals and still leading in Medal Standing.

American LEVERETT Abbie Russell, ABELN Katelyn Morgan, KORKHIN Ada Claudia took the Second place. Third place went to JEDRZEJEWSKI Camille, FOURRE Heloise, CANDEL Elisa from France

 

American LEVERETT Henry Turner showed the best result in the 25m Rapid Fire Pistol Men Junior. SINGH Adarsh from India and CUSSIGH Laurent Pierre Andre from France were Second and Third places, respectively.

 

Italians FAUSTINELLI Samuele, FRANQUILLO Lorenzo, FIANDRI Fabio won Trap Team Men Junior. Their rivals in the Gold medal match MALEK Bakhtyaruddin Mohamadmuzahid, VIHAN Shardul, KAPOOR Vivaan from India won Silver. Athletes from Slovakia won their first medal in these competitions - HRUSKA Daniel, BENKOVSKY Filip, TOTH Timotej became bronze medalists of the Junior World Championship in Peru.

 

In this event between Women Junior Americans PENDERGRASS Faith Alexa, KRIEGER Sydney Marie, HIGH Bethany won the second Gold for today. Athletes from Italy RAGAZZINI Gaia, LITTAME Sofia, LENTICCHIA Giorgia were Second. Bronze took HALWAX Nadine, DANNLER Patricia, HUBBERMANN Lena from Germany.
