Romanian, Chinese, Indian and Iranian athletes took Gold in the President’s Cup

The first finals of the ISSF President's Cup Rifle / Pistol took place in Wroclaw, Poland.

At the competition, which takes place from November 3 to 10, athletes competed for medals in Mixed Team events today. The event were held according to the new rules in a test format. According to the qualification results, the 8 best teams went to the semifinals, the winners of which took part in the Gold medal matches. The teams that took second place in the semi-finals won the Bronze medals.

 

Laura-Georgeta ILIE from Romania and Lihao SHENG from the People's Republic of China became the winners of the 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team. In the Gold Medal Match they were more accurate than Rikke Maeng IBSEN from Denmark and Istvan PENI from Hungary. Bronze medals were won by MESZAROS Eszter from Hungary and KOZENIESKY Lucas from USA, DENES Eszter from Hungary and JANY Patrik from Slovakia.

 

In the 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team Gold was won by Manu BHAKER from India and Javad FOROUGHI from the Islamic Republic of Iran, which in the medal match were more accurate than Mathilde LAMOLLE from France and Artem CHERNOUSOV from the Russian Federation. Bronze was won by Anna KORAKAKI from Greece and Damir MIKEC from Serbia, Celine GOBERVILLE from France and Christian REITZ from Germany.
