ISSF Development Fund continues its activity

The national federations and athletes from 90 countries of 5 continents became beneficiaries of the ISSF Development Fund since it was established in 2018.

 

The National Federations of 57 countries have received grants for Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games quota places totaling 

US $2 420 000.

 

The largest beneficiaries were the national federations of:

-USA (210 000 USD), 

-Australia (150 000 USD)

-Korea (150 000 USD), 

-Italy (140 000 USD), 

-Egypt (110 000 USD), 

-France (100 000 USD), 

-Czech Republic (80 000 USD),

-Germany (80 000 USD),

-Serbia (70 000 USD). 

 

Among other federations, three of them received 60 000 USD, 

five - 50 000 USD, 

nine - 40 000 USD, 

eight - 30 000 USD, 

seven - 20 000 USD 

and sixteen - 10 000 USD each.

 

125 top athletes from 44 countries won prize money at the ISSF President's Cup 2021. 

 

The winners of the largest prize amounts were athletes from:

-USA (92 800 USD), 

-France (75 300 USD), 

-Russia (69 500 USD), 

-Germany (64 400 USD), 

-Italy (53 000 USD), 

-China (46 400 USD), 

-India (40 800 USD), 

-Slovakia (39 900 USD), 

-Ukraine (36 300 USD), 

-Czech Republic (33 200 USD).

 

3 athletes received more than 20 000 USD, 14 - from 15 000 to 20 000 USD, 

20 - from 10 000 to 20 000, 

31 - from 5 000 to 10 000, 

18 - from 3 000 to 5 000 

and the rest - from 1 000 to 3 000 USD each.

 

Equipment for the development of the shooting sport was received by the national federations of 43 countries for a total amount exceeding 1 100 000 USD. 

 

15 federations are from the countries of the American continent,

13 - from Europe, 

8 -  from Africa, 

6 - from Asia 

1 - from Oceania. 

 

The amount of three grants exceeds 50 000 USD, 

of two - 40 000 USD, 

eighteen - 25 000 USD, 

five - from 15 000 to 25 000 USD 

and fifteen - from 7 000 to 15 000 USD.

 

In addition, Continental Federations received development grants totaling 

447 000 USD.

 

The final report of the ISSF Development Fund activities in 2019-2022 and the specific assistance provided to each of the national federations from all the continents will be presented at the 70th ISSF General Assembly.
