First winners in Korea!

ISSF World Cup Rifle / Pistol / Shotgun · Changwon, KOR

The Czech Republic and India lead the Medal Standing after the first day of the ISSF World Cup Rifle/Pistol/Shotgun, which takes place in Changwon, Republic of Korea from July 9-21.

Athletes from 7 countries qualified for the 10m Air Rifle Men final. The winner of the World Cups Juniors Arjun BABUTA from India showed the best result here. In the medal match, he defeated Tokyo 2020 silver medalist in the Mixed Team event - Lucas KOZENIESKY from USA. The winner and medalist of the World Cups, Israeli Sergey RICHTER, won the Bronze.

 

Lucie BRAZDOVA from the Czech Republic won her first individual medal in 10m Air Rifle Women. Her opponent in the medal match, Roxana SIDI from Romania, placed second and won her first ISSF medal among women. The bronze medalist was the winner and medalist of the World Cups, Hungarian Eszter MESZAROS.
