Great Britain and Czech Republic finished World Cup with Gold

Last medals were distributed in two events today at the ISSF World Cup Rifle/Pistol/Shotgun in Changwon, Korea. Athletes from Great Britain and Czech Republic won Gold.

Ben LLEWELLIN and Amber HILL from Great Britain took first place in the Skeet Mixed Team. Silver was won by the Italians Niccolo SODI and Chiara DI MARZIANTONIO. The French Nicolas LEJEUNE and Lucie ANASTASSIOU won the Bronze, the same as the Italians Giancarlo TAZZA and Simona SCOCCHETTI.

 

Spectators saw a stubborn struggle for Gold in the 25m Rapid Fire Pistol Team Men event. Martin PODHRASKY, Tomas TEHAN and Matej RAMPULA from Czech Republic fought for Gold with Anish ANISH, Sameer SAMEER and Vijayveer SIDHU from India until the last shot. Athletes from Czech Republic were more precise and took first place, Indians - second. The bronze medalists were Jong-Ho SONG, Jaekyoon LEE and Daeyoon HAN from Republic of Korea.

 

The first place in the Medal Standing was taken by the Indian team with 5 Gold, 6 Silver and 4 Bronze (15 medals in total). The second place went to the hosts of the competition, Republic of Korea: 4 Gold, 5 Silver and 3 Bronze (12 in total), the third place went to the Czech Republic: 4 Gold, 2 Silver (6 in total). A total of 93 medals in 30 events were won by teams from 21 countries.
