Ukrainian Kulish and Korean Kim win World Championship’s Gold medals and Quotas to Paris-2024

Eight more Quota places to Paris-2024 were allocated today in Egypt.

Ukrainian athlete Serhiy KULISH won the World Champion title and Quota in 50m Rifle 3 Positions Men event. Silver and one more Quota were won by Tomasz BARTNIK from Poland. Jon-Hermann HEGG from Norway took Bronze. He was already received his Quota place in this event at the last European Championship in Poland. Two more Quotas were won by Swapnil KUSALE from India and Yukun LIU from People’s Republic of China. 

 

Athletes contended for medals and 4 Quota places in 25m Pistol Women as well. 

 

Gold medal in this World Championship won Jangmi KIM from Republic of Korea. Yan CHEN from People’s Republic of China won Silver and Doreen VENNEKAMP from Germany took Bronze. Both of them,  Jangmi KIM and Yan CHEN, took Quota places as well. Doreen VENNEKAMP did it at the last European Championship in Wroclaw. Two more Quotas won Antoaneta KOSTADINOVA from Bulgaria and Haniyeh ROSTAMIYAN from Islamic Republic of Iran.

 

Two Indian teams participated in Gold Medal Match in 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team Junior Final. Esha SINGH and Samrat RANA were more accurate and won Gold. Silver was taken by Shikha NARWAL and Sagar DANGI. Celina BECKER and Andreas KOEPPL from Germany and Yiyao SHEN and Junhui LIU from People’s Republic of China took Bronze medals. 

 

Tomorrow last 4 Quota Places at this competitions will be allocated. Athletes will compete for its and medals in 25m Rapid Fire Pistol Men which you can watch live on the ISSF internet resources.
