The 2018 ISSF World Cup in Changwon, Republic of Korea, continued this afternoon with the 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team final, the new rifle event recently introduced in the Olympic program for Tokyo 2020.
It was team China that sealed the competition, pocketing today’s gold with 499.3 points scored by Ruozhu Zhao and her teammate Yang Haoran.
The Russian Federation’s team (Daria Vdovina and Vladimir Maskennikov) made it to the final with a new qualification world record of 838.7 points, and then ended up in second place with 498.8 points in the final.
Following them, Bronze went to Republic of Korea’s Song Soojoo and Jihyeon Keum, winning on their home turf with 435.4 points.
Team Italy (Petra Zublasing and Riccardo Armiraglio) and team India (Apurvi Chandela, Ravi Kumar) closed the final in fourth and fifth place, with 391.4 and 351.0 points, respectively.
