Kazakhstan finished top of the medal table at the Asian Rifle/Pistol Cup, ending two weeks of great action in Bangkok, Thailand.
Olympic mixed team rifle medallist Alexandra Le ended the competition with a strong performance in the women's 50m rifle 3 positions final, leading a Kazakh one-two with Yelizaveta Bezrukova.
Le, who won a bronze medal at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games in the mixed team 10m air rifle event, held the lead from the start - having a one point lead going into the standing elimination stage.
While Bezrukova was able to match her teammate, she was not able to break down the lead - with Le finishing on 463.2 to Bezrukova's 462.1. Audrey Zahra Dhiyaanisa from Indonesia taking the bronze medal.
Nikita Chiryukin added another gold for Kazakhstan in the men's 25m standard pistol event, finishing two clear of his opponents for gold with a score of 569-15x. He was followed by Phan Cong Minh from Vietnam and Cho Yeongjae of Republic of Korea, both finishing on 567-15x - four shots ahead of fourth-placed Trang Con Hieu from Vietnam.
The women's 50m rifle prone event was won by Lee Seulbi of Republic of Korea, holding off Ratchadaporn Plengsaengthong with a score of 621.9 to the Thai's 621.4. Japan's Ayano Shimizu was clear in third with a total of 620.5.
Despite no athletes on the individual podium, Kazakhstan won the team medal thanks to Arina Altukhova, Yelizaveta Bezrukova and Alexandra Le with a total of 1849.8. Japan's Shimizu, Shiori Hirata and Ai Horinouchi won silver with 1848.3 and the Korean trio of Lee Seulbi, Lee Kyerim and Jang Sowon took bronze with a score of 1844.3.
