Rifle and pistol judges course held in Ankara

The Turkish Shooting Federation has held an ISSF B Judges Course in the country's capital city, Ankara, from the 20 to 24 October 2025.

25 students attended from six countries: Armenia, Bulgaria, Oman, Poland, India and Turkey. Whilst the majority of them came from a pistol background, 16 of them passed the rifle part of the course, as well as all 25 passing the pistol section.

The United Kingdom's Paul Gumn, Member of ISSF Technical Committee, led the course as an instructor, and he was assisted by Liam Crawford from Ireland.

Dr. James Lally, Chairperson of the ISSF Medical Committee also attended on the third day of the course to deliver his talk on Integrity and Health Related Matters. which was well received by the students.

Administration and Course Support was ably provided by Ceren Yildirim from the Turkish Shooting Federation.

Certificates of Participation were presented by Mr. Tolga Vural, Secretary General of the Turkish Shooting Federation on the closing afternoon.
