In the Trap Women event the 26-year-old from Melbourne bested New Zealand’s Natalie Ellen Rooney, who claimed the Silver medal. In the Bronze medal match Corey Cogdell of the United States of America prevailed over the Spain’s Fatima Galvez.

Germany's Quooss clinches Trap Women gold and quota: “motivated by spectators”

Quooss beat the Spanish flag bearer Fatima Galvez in the Gold medal match, securing an Olympic quota place for her country, as well as the second individual title of the day after Beate Gauss' victory at the 50m Rifle 3 Positions Women event.
