Rio 2016 unveils Shooting sport schedule

The first Shooting sport medal match - the 10m Air Rifle Women Finals - will take place on the 6th fo August, at 10.30 AM. Find the full schedule on the ISSF website.

The Shooting Sport schedule of the XXXI Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, has been unveiled. The full day-by-day schedule is published online on the ISSF website (link).

A total of 390 athletes will compete in Shooting sport events during Rio 2016. Almost all Olympic quota places have already been distributed (find a list of quotas by country here, link).

The last 12 slots available will be assigned at the 2016 European Championships in 10m events to be held in Gyoer, Hungary, from the 22 to the 28 of February.

Twenty-four additional Tripartite Commission Invitation Places are available to eligible National Olympic Committees for the Shooting events, and will be distributed by the Tripartite Commission according to the allocation procedure and regulations (link)

6 August:
10.30 - Finals 10m Air Rifle Women
15.30 - Finals 10m Air Pistol Men

7 August:
11.00 - Finals 10m Air Pistol Women
15.00 - Finals Trap Women

8 August:
12.00 - Finals 10m Air Rifle Men
15.00 - Finals Trap Men

9 August:
15.30 - Finals 25m Pistol Women

10 August:
12.00 - Finals 50m Pistol Men
15.00 - Finals Double Trap Men

11 August:
12.00 - Finals 50m Rifle 3 Positions Women

12 August:
11:00 - Finals 50m Rifle Prone Men
15:00 - Finals Skeet Women

13 August:
12:30 - Finals 25m Rapid Fire Pistol Men
15:00 - Finals Skeet Men

14 August:
13:00 - Finals 50m Rifle 3 Positions Men
