After qualifying for the finals through a shoot-off, Fatima Galvez beat Russia's Tkach in the Gold medal match to win the women's Trap title. Tkach and bronze medallist Pak Yong Hui of the People's Republic of Korea pocketed Rio 2016 Quota places as Galvez had already one.

Quooss beat the Spanish flag bearer Fatima Galvez in the Gold medal match, securing an Olympic quota place for her country, as well as the second individual title of the day after Beate Gauss' victory at the 50m Rifle 3 Positions Women event.
