Today’s Skeet Men event closed the 2013 ISSF Shotgun World Cup in Al Ain (UAE).
It was Great Britain that finished atop of the medal standings, thanks to Peter Robert Russell Wilson and to Aaron Heading, who won two Gold medals at the Double Trap and Trap Men event, respectively.
Italy finished in second, with one Gold – won by Chiara Cainero at the Skeet Women event – one Silver – secured by Giovanni Pellielo at the Trap Men event – and with two Bronze medals won by Jessica Rossi at the Trap Women event and by Davide Gasparini at the Double Trap Men event.
Australia, with a Gold and Silver medal won by Laethisha Scanland and Catherine Skinner at the Trap Women event, placed in third.
350 athletes coming from 50 countries have been taking part in the second ISSF Shotgun World Cup Stage of the season, held at the Al Ain Equestrian Shooting and Gold club form the April 17 through April 24.

The ISSF World Cup Series will now move on to Fort Bennig, GA, USA, where the next ISSF Rifle and Pistol World Cup Stage will be conducted from the 4th through the 13th of May.
