ISSF World Cup 6 kicks-off in Tucson. USA’s Kim Rhode leads Skeet Women day-1

The sixth and last ISSF World Cup stage of the season started in Tucson, Arizona. The first medals will be assigned tomorrow, July 12th, at 3 PM (GMT-7)

The ISSF Shotgun World Cup in Tucson, Arizona, kicked-off today with the women’s Skeet competition. Today, athletes shot their first 75 qualification targets, that will be followed by 50 additional qualification targets and the final, tomorrow. 

 

At the end of day-1, it was USA’s six-time Olympic medalist Kimberly Rhode who led the intermediate table, with a score of 73 out of 75 targets. South Korea’s Kim Minji and USA’s Caitlin Connor followed in second and third place with 72 hits each. Find the full intermediate results here. 

 

Tomorrow’s Skeet Women final will take place at 3.00 PM (GMT-7). The match will be broadcasted live on the ISSF website, Facebook page and Livestream channel. 

 

A total of 205 shooters from 39 different nations are competing at the Tucson Trap and Skeet Club in Tucson (USA) from the 9th through the 19th of July, in the sixth and last ISSF World Cup stage of the season.
