147 athletes from 15 countries took part in the competitions with a total of 251 starts.
Besides medals and titles, 14 Quota Places for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics were available to be won by the competing athletes. Two quotas were at stake in 10m Air Pistol Women and 10m Air Pistol Men, as well as one in each of other individual Olympic events.
Egypt won 10 Quota Places, Tunis 2 and Morocco 1. In 25m Rapid Fire Pistol none of the competitors managed to achieve the MQS, and the quota in these events will be reallocated at the conclusion of the Qualification period.
