At the ISSF World Cup Shotgun in Cairo, Egypt, athletes competed for their first medals in the Olympic Skeet.
In Skeet Women event Gold medal won Olympic medallist BARTEKOVA Danka from Slovakia. In the Final she was opposed by a Russian athlete FAZYLZYANOVA Alina who participated in her first World Cup Final and won Silver medal. The third place took NIKOLAOU Konstantia representing Cyprus.
Skeet Men event has been held using spotlights - for the first time in the history of Shotgun. Gold medal took MILCHEV Mikola from Ukraine who was more precise than HANSEN Jesper from Denmark. HAMAD Rashid from Qatar won Bronze.
On Friday athletes will be fighting for medals in the Skeet Team events. The tournament will continue until March 5th.
