Third event for Skeet - athletes competed for medals in mixed team

At the World Cup Shotgun in Cairo, Egypt, athletes competed for medals in the Skeet Mixed Team Event, which will be included into the program of the 2024 Olympics in Paris.

This was the third event in the World Cup for Skeet athletes, which became possible for the first time in the ISSF Competitions. 

The Gold Medal Match was won by FAZYLZYANOVA Alina and ZEMLIN Alexander from the Russian Federation and by doing so, they brought their country the third medal of the highest standard. The second placed were JARMOLINSKA Alexandra and WERYS Jakub from Poland, the Bronze Medal went to - SINDELAROVA Anna and NYDRLE Tomas from the Czech Republic.

- Finally we can participate in 3 events and by doing so, athletes will have the oppurtunity to win more medals. And it’s great that  the Skeet Mixed Team Event will be included in the Olympic program, - said JARMOLINSKA Alexandra from Poland who won the Silver medal today. 

The competition was attended by 200 athletes from 33 countries of the world, including Olympic champions and prize-winners.

On the 2nd of March, athletes will compete for medals in Trap Men and Trap Women.
