5 nations won medals on the final day of the World Cup in Egypt

Russia, Croatia, India, Egypt, and Kazakhstan won the World Cup medals in Cairo on the final day of the competition.

For the first time in the history of ISSF competitions athletes competed in Trap Team events.

In Trap Team Women the Gold medal took SEMIANOVA Daria, SUBBOTINA Ekaterina and SAVELEVA Iuliia from the Russian Federation. GUPTA Kirti, KUMARI Rajeshwari and KEER Manisha from India finished second, and DIMITRIYENKO Mariya, DOSMAGAMBETOVA Aizhan and RYSBEKOVA Sarsenkul representing Kazakhstan were third.

In Trap Team Men the Gold medals were won by GLASNOVIC Anton, CERNOGORAZ Giovanni and GLASNOVIC Josip. Silver went to MAMKIN Gennadii, KABATSKIY Maxim and ALIPOV Alexey. Third place went to the hosts ZAHER Ahmed, MEHELBA Abdel Aziz and KAMAR Ahmed from Egypt.

The World Cup in Cairo was held for the first time in 10 years and was organized in compliance with all safety standards.

-The organization of this competition is good. We finished the World Cup with 2 Gold medals - one in Team and one in individual. We are very happy. I like Egypt very much, we saw the Pyramids yesterday and it was fantastic. Thanks the Organizing Committee for this.
-And the Team format is very nice and interesting, - told the winner in Trap Men Team Josip Glasnovic.

About 200 athletes representing 33 nations took part in the competition.
