The Czech Republic, Germany, Great Britain and France take Gold medals in Osijek

On the penultimate day of the ISSF World Cup Rifle / Pistol / Shotgun, medals were distributed in four events.

In 25m Pistol Team Women Gold was won by Anna DEDOVA, Renata CERVENKOVA and Veronika SCHEJBALOVA from the Czech Republic who were more accurate than Anastasiia NIMETS, Yulia KOROSTYLOVA and Nadiia SHAMANOVA from Ukraine in the Gold medal match. Third place went to Sandra REITZ, Monika KARSCH and Doreen VENNEKAMP from Germany.

 

In a bitter struggle in 25m Rapid Fire Pistol Team Men ruled Oliver GEIS, Christian REITZ and Florian PETER from Germany. Tomas TEHAN, Martin STRNAD and Matej RAMPULA from the Czech Republic came in second, while Leonid EKIMOV, Anton MORILOV and Andrey SHCHEPETKOV from the Russian Federation took Bronze.

 

In Trap Team Women, there was a bitter struggle in two medal matches. Gold was won by Kirsty HEGARTY, Charlotte HOLLANDS and Sarah WIXEY from the Great Britain, which were more precisely Daria SEMIANOVA, Ekaterina SUBBOTINA and Iuliia SAVELEVA from the Russian Federation. Bronze was won by Zina HRDLICKOVA, Tereza ZAVISKOVA and Lea KUCEROVA from the Czech Republic.

 

French Antonin DESERT, Clement BOURGUE and Sebastien GUERRERO won Trap Team Men, who defeated David KOSTELECKY, Jiri LIPTAK and Pavel VANEK from the Czech Republic. The third were Giovanni CERNOGORAZ, Anton GLASNOVIC and Josip GLASNOVIC from Croatia.

 

Tomorrow the athletes will compete for the last medals in the Trap Mixed Team.
