First winners of the ISSF President’s Cup

The ISSF President's Cup Shotgun finals were held in Larnaca, Cyprus.

 

The best 48 athletes from all over the world took part in the competition. They competed for medals in 4 personal and 2 team events, which were held in a test mode according to the new rules.

 

In Skeet Women Gold was won by Austen Jewell SMITH from USA. The second place was taken by Danka BARTEKOVA from Slovakia, the youngest participant of the final Zilia BATYRSHINA from the Russian Federation became the bronze medalist.

 

Gabriele Rossetti from Italy won in the Skeet Men. In a bitter struggle, he beat Tokyo's bronze medalist Abdullah ALRASHIDI from Kuwait, who finished the second. The third place was taken by Tammaro CASSANDRO from Italy.

 

In Skeet Mixed Team the best results were shown by the winners of individual events Austen Jewell SMITH from USA and Gabriele ROSSETTI from Italy. Danka BARTEKOVA from Slovakia and Jesper HANSEN from Denmark took second place. Bronze was won by 2 teams: Diana BACOSI from Italy and Abdullah ALRASHIDI from Kuwait, Zoya KRAVCHENKO from Kazakhstan and Eric DELAUNAY from France.

 

In Trap Women the best result was shown by the Spaniard Fatima GALVEZ. Kayle BROWNING from USA and Daria SEMIANOVA from the Russian Federation took second and third places, respectively.

 

David KOSTELECKY from the Czech Republic won in Trap Men. In a bitter struggle, he defeated his teammate Jiri LIPTAK. Matthew John COWARD-HOLLEY from Great Britain won Bronze.

 

In Trap Mixed Team, Madelynn Ann BERNAU from USA and David KOSTELECKY from the Czech Republic showed the best results. They were more precisely Silvana STANCO from Italy and Abdel Aziz MEHELBA from Egypt. Jana SPOTAKOVA from Slovakia and Antonin DESERT from France, Daria SEMIANOVA and Alexey ALIPOV from the Russian Federation won Bronze.
