First winners in Granada

ISSF Grand Prix 10/25/50m/Shotgun · Granada, ESP

The ISSF Grand Prix Rifle/ Pistol / Shotgun started in Granada, Spain. More than 250 athletes from 37 countries will compete for the medals of the competition until May 29th.

The first finals were held in 10m individual events.

 

The winner and prize-winner of the World Cups Sergey RICHTER from Israel won the 10m Air Rifle Men in a tough fight. His opponent in the fight for the Gold Frenchman Alexis RAYNAUD won the Silver. Third place went to Sangdo KIM from Republic of Korea.

 

World Cup winner and medalist Jeanette Hegg DUESTAD from Norway won Gold in the 10m Air Rifle Women. In a stubborn struggle, she was more accurate than Laura-Georgeta ILIE from Romania who won Silver. Bronze medal in this event was won by one more Norwegian athlete Jenny STENE.

 

Athletes from the Republic of Korea won two top medals at once in 10m Air Pistol Women. Bomi KIM and Hyunyoung YOO placed first and second respectively. The winner of the recent World Cup in Rio de Janeiro, Zorana ARUNOVIC from Serbia, brought her country the Bronze.

 

The winner and medalist of the ISSF Grand Prix-2022 Ruslan LUNEV from Azerbaijan won the 10m Air Pistol Men. The silver was won by the vice-champion of the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 Damir MIKEC from Serbia, the bronze was won by the debutant of the ISSF competition Wonho LEE from the Republic of Korea.
