3 more medals for Europe

ISSF World Cup Rifle / Pistol / Shotgun · Baku, AZE

Today athletes competed for medals in three events at the ISSF World Cup Rifle/ Pistol/ Shotgun which continues in Baku, Azerbaijan.

All 3 Golds were won by athletes from European countries: Denmark, Croatia and Norway.

 

Rikke Maeng IBSEN from Denmark won the 50m Rifle 3 Positions Women. Second place went to Anjum MOUDGIL from India. Bronze was won by Eunseo LEE from the Republic of Korea.

 

Josip SIKAVICA, Andrija MIKULJAN and Miran MARICIC from Croatia won the Gold Medal Match in the 50m Rifle 3 Positions Team Men. Their rivals for the first place, Goldi GURJAR, Swapnil KUSALE and Deepak KUMAR from India, came in second. Oleh TSARKOV, Oleksandr HALKIN and Serhiy KULISH from Ukraine took third place.

 

A stubborn struggle was in the Gold Medal Match in 50m Rifle 3 Positions Team Women. Karina STETTE, Mari Bardseng LOVSETH, Johanna REKSTEN from Norway and Yelizaveta KOROL, Yelizaveta BEZRUKOVA and Arina ALTUKHOVA from Kazakhstan fought for the victory. Gold was won by athletes from Norway, Silver - by athletes from Kazakhstan. Athletes from Poland Julia Ewa PIOTROWSKA, Aneta STANKIEWICZ and Natalia KOCHANSKA became bronze medalists.

 

Tomorrow at the ISSF World Cup there will be finals in 5 more events.
