Tony Estanguet visits the National Shooting Center in Châteauroux, a key moment for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games

Tony Estanguet, President of the Paris Organising Committee for the Olympic Games, conducted a control visit on Thursday, 11, to the National Shooting Center (CNTS) in Châteauroux. This visit holds particular significance as the Center prepares to host 15 shooting events for the Olympic Games, this summer.

 

The day began with a meeting with accomplished shooters such as Éric Delaunay, Lucie Anstassiou, and Gaëlle Edon, as well as with the President of the FFtir, Michel Baczik. Tony Estanguet then toured the outdoor shooting stands and the indoor 25-meter stands, engaging with participants and immersing himself in the preparation atmosphere.

 

During the busy day, Estanguet also had the opportunity to interact with athletes present at the CNTS, as well as to have lunch with local officials. He also visited the accommodation sites for future Olympians, including the boarding school of Lycée Blaise Pascal and the International Higher Education Center (PESI).

 

He concluded the day by attending the national tournament and meeting volunteers, thus highlighting the importance of cooperation and commitment from all stakeholders involved in the success of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
