700 athletes arriving at the 2013 ISSF Rifle and Pistol World Cup in Munich

The third Rifle and Pistol World Cup Stage of the year has been opened in Munich, where the first athletes arrived at the 1972 Olympic Shooting Range.

The 2013 ISSF Rifle and Pistol World Cup in Munich kicks off at the 1972 Olympic Shooting Range in Hochbruck.


The third Rifle and Pistol World Cup Stage of the year follows the ISSF stages in Changwon (KOR) and Fort Benning, GA (USA).

 

The historical shooting venue of Munich is going to be crowded, in the following days. Over 700 athletes coming from 78 countries registered to take part in the 10 Olympic events of Rifle and Pistol shooting, to be conducted from the 25th to the 29th of May. An impressing overall number of 1205 starts were booked.

 

The first medal matches are scheduled to take place on the week-end. The first two finals are to be conducted on Saturday 25, with the 10m Air Rifle Men and the 10m Air Rifle Women taking place at 1.15 PM and 4.45 PM local time, respectively.

 

The 50m Pistol Men and the 25m Pistol Women medals will be assigned on Sunday 26, at 11.15 AM and 1.30 PM, respectively.
