he Cyprus Shooting Sport Federation – CSSF – awarded the International Shooting Sport Federation the “Aristeion Skok”, the “Highest Honour” of the CSSF, during an official ceremony held in Nicosia on the 14th of December.
In the same occasion, the President of the Cyprus Shooting Sport Federation Demetris Lordos awarded the ISSF Secretary General Franz Schreiber the CSSF's Honorary Membership.
“Dear Mr. Schreiber, your friendship and support to Cyprus and our Federation is greatly appreciated and I would like once more to stress that both you and the ISSF President Olegario Vazquez Raña will always have our full support.” Said Mr. Lordos during the award ceremony.
“Both the Board of the Cyprus Shooting Sport Federation and our General Assembly unanimously decided to honour you with your election as an Honorary Member of the Administrative Council of our Federation and we thank you very much for accepting this award. You are now part of our family and we really want you to feel Cyprus as your second Country and home.”
“Furthermore the Board of our Federation has decided to Award our Highest Honour for the Year to the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) for the excellent work and promotion of the Shooting Sport internationally and the great help and support to our Federation and Cyprus.” Concluded Mr. Lordos.
