125 athletes took part in the Skeet Men event. The victory was won by Azmy Mehelba from Egypt. For Azmy this is the first gold at the World Cup which he won in a stubborn confrontation with the Olympic champion from the United States Vincent Hancock. Italian Tammaro Cassandro won Bronze at the home World Cup.

In Skeet Women event with 60 athletes participating the youngest shooter in the Final, 19-year-old American Austen Jewell Smith, achieved the best result. For her this victory was the first at World Cup as well. The second place was taken by Amber Hill from the Great Britain, and the third place went to the Olympic medalist Danka Bartekova from Slovakia.
The competition will continue tomorrow in Team events for Men and Women.

I’m happy to win the medal today and now I’ll concentrate top the next two days, we have Team events coming up and Mixed Team as well, and I’m really exited, - said Silver medalist Vincent Hancock.
