As part of efforts to ensure the highest standards in the field of TV production and marketing services as well as enhanced cooperation between organisers and ISSF, staff members from the International Shooting Sport Federation made a visit to the shooting range for the ISSF World Championship Shotgun, taking place in Athens, Greece from the 8th to 19th October.
The delegation was led by Andrea Cuneo, Head of the Marketing Unit, who was accompanied by TV Production Manager Leonardo de Mei, Event Coordinator Roberta Cocozza di Montanara and Marketing Officer Mirella Seletto.
The marketing and television teams inspected the scenic Malakasa Shooting Range as part of their ongoing commitments to improved broadcasting and sponsorship awareness, working together with the Local Organising Committee.
A tour of the venue took place before the local television team met with ISSF TV Manager to discuss filming logistics, including the positioning of cameras.
Following this, the President of the Psachna Shooting Club, Alexander Pantelakis, showed the ISSF staff other key areas including where the ISSF team would be stationed, as well as the restaurant and podium area.
During this part of the tour, marketing and technical solutions were discussed. President Pantelakis then cooked a meal for the guests, in a sign of unity and respect between the ISSF and the Local Organising Committee.
