The latest ISSF Shotgun Discipline Instructors Workshop has taken place in Greece, at the Malakasa Shooting Range near Athens, during the 2025 ISSF World Championship Shotgun.
This was delivered by ISSF Sport Director Peter Underhill, ISSF Technical Supervisor Paul Gumn and ISSF Shotgun Supervisor Moody Wahdan, Chair of the Shotgun Discipline Committee.
Six students attended the workshop and are now authorised to conduct and delivery ISSF International B Licence Judges’ courses.
Underhill said this was a "very successful" event that covered a variety of topics including ISSF organisation, international relationships with the International Olympic Committee and other major sporting bodies, as well as judging criteria and the application of the rules in decision-making.
Also included in the two-day workshop were aspects of cultural awareness, communication skills and methods of instruction techniques.
