Clement Bessaguet
A year on from the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Clement Bessaguet stood at the top of the podium in the 25m rapid fire pistol at the ISSF World Championship, upgrading from his successive silvers in 2022 and 2023.
It was the perfect way to end November, having finished third and fourth in his two ISSF World Cup legs, as well as winning the silver medal at the European Championships.

Hu Kai
The first athlete to win all four ISSF World Cup gold medals, Hu Kai's 2025 was nearly the perfect season. Having also won the Asian title in the 10m air pistol, he headed to the ISSF World Championship in a bid to win a sixth successive competition in 2025.
He would come up just short with the silver medal in what was a superb performance, adding a mixed team title later in Cairo. Even on the World Cup circuit, he won two golds and two silvers in mixed team events in the World Cup.

Florian Peter
Germany's hopes this season fell on Florian Peter, who looked strong throughout. A first individual gold medal went his way in Ningbo, shortly after winning her first World Cup silver medal in Munich in the 25m rapid fire pistol.
His European title set himself up well for the World Championship too, but he would just miss the final in seventh place - a solid result for the 25-year-old heading into Doha for the ISSF World Cup Final.

Jean Quiquampoix
Despite missing the ISSF World Championship, Jean Quiquampoix can call 2025 a success. He added his seventh ISSF World Cup gold medal with a win in Munich, followed by silver in Ningbo shortly after.
He was also on the podium in the 25m rapid fire pistol with a bronze medal at the European Championships.

Jason Solari
The Swiss world number two Jason Solari broke onto the ISSF World Cup podium for the first time this season with a bronze medal in Buenos Aires on leg one. On leg four, he won his second bronze medal behind Hu and the winner's teammate You Changjie.
His results were strong elsewhere too. He placed sixth in Lima and took European bronze in Osijek at the start of the year. It turned out to be a year that saw frequent silverware for the 25-year-old.
