International Shooting Sport Federation staff members gathered at the ISSF Headquarters in Munich, Germany to discuss strategic and operational meetings going into next year.
In attendance were Secretary General Alessandro Nicotra di San Giacomo and Financial Advisor Massimo Baiamonte, along with Executive Assistant, Eleonora Giustiniani; Event Coordinator, Roberta Cocozza di Montanara; Event Manager, Jan Ketzel; IOC and National Federations Relations Manager, Doris Fischl; Accountant, Franziska Zeilthoffer and Junior Staff member Viola Ponte.
There was a particular focus placed on the coordination of the first official ISSF visit to Los Angeles for the 2028 Olympic Games, as well as on the planning and development of the 2026 competitive season, representing a crucial step in the Federation’s long-term strategic vision and global sporting calendar.
The ISSF team also welcomed the official visit of the Chinese delegation from Hebei Sport University, aimed at exploring a Memorandum of Understanding in cooperation with the ISSF Academy and the Chinese Shooting Association, further strengthening international collaboration and educational development initiatives, with talks ongoing.
Alessandro Nicotra di San Giacomo with Rector of Hebei Sport University, Sun ZhiyingISSF President Luciano Rossi extended his season's greetings with the staff via video conference, shortly after arriving home from an ISSF visit in Brisbane, Australia.
The ISSF President said: “I would like to thank the Secretary General and the entire ISSF staff for the outstanding work accomplished throughout 2025. The results achieved are the outcome of continuous commitment and a shared vision. The challenges awaiting us in 2026 will be significant, but I am confident that, thanks to this exceptional teamwork, the Federation will continue its path of growth, further strengthening ISSF as a modern, transparent and sustainable organisation.”
The meeting represented an important opportunity for dialogue and forward planning, reaffirming the central role of the ISSF within the international sporting landscape and its ongoing commitment to organisational excellence, sporting development, and institutional integrity.
