ISSF Secretary General Alessandro Nicotra di San Giacomo attended the SHOT Show in Las Vegas, Nevada, alongside Olympian and ISSF Vice President Kimberly Rhode and USA Shooting CEO Kelly Reisdorf, continuing ISSF’s engagement with key industry stakeholders on the road to LA28.
As one of the world’s largest trade events for firearms and ammunition, the SHOT Show provides a valuable platform for ISSF and USA Shooting representatives to connect with leading manufacturers, distributors and experts, strengthening relationships and building greater awareness of international shooting sport ahead of the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.
Over 53,000 people attended the event, taking place at the Venetian Expo and Caesars Forum, bringing attendees from all 50 states and 126 countries.
An acronym for Shooting, Hunting, and Outdoor Trade, the SHOT Show is held annually in the United States, first organised in 1979. Since 2010, it has taken place every year in Las Vegas and it is among the top 25 trade shows in the country.
