Between 12 and 16 February, the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) successfully conducted an ISSF Rifle/Pistol Judge Course in Amman, Jordan, bringing together officials from across the region to strengthen technical expertise and officiating standards in shooting sport.
A total of 13 participants successfully completed the course and received their certification following several days of theoretical and practical instruction. The course was administered by ISSF Executive Committee Member Hazem Hosny, who shared his extensive experience and knowledge with the attendees, contributing to the continued development of qualified judges within the ISSF community.
Participants attended the course from Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Kuwait and Palestine, reflecting the strong regional interest in education and capacity-building initiatives. During the course, the President Hussain Majaliand and Secretary General Nizar Amado of the Royal Jordanian Shooting Federation visited the participants to welcome them, encourage continued learning, and highlight the importance of education and knowledge-sharing in the development of shooting sport.
The ISSF continues to support the growth of qualified officials worldwide through education programmes aimed at ensuring high standards of competition and the long-term development of the sport.
