ISSF World Cup Granada 2026: India claims gold with world record in 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team

India secured the gold medal in the 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team event on the opening day of finals at the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) World Cup Rifle / Pistol Granada 2026.

The final, held at 13:00 local time at the Las Gabias Shooting Range, was the first medal event of the day and delivered a high-level contest between four strong teams.

The Indian team of Palak Palak and Nelavalli Mukesh dominated the final from the early stages, maintaining the lead throughout and finishing with a total of 487.7 points.

This outstanding performance not only secured the gold medal but also established a World Record and World Record Junior in the event.
The team from the People's Republic of China, represented by Yao Qianxun and Hu Kai, claimed the silver medal with 484.8 points, remaining close contenders throughout the final.
Bronze went to Hungary, with Veronika Major and Akos Karoly Nagy finishing with 414.9 points.

The team from the United States, Nathalia Tobar Prado and Nickolaus Mowrer, placed fourth with 349.1 points.
As the first final of the day, the 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team event set the tone for the competition, showcasing precision, consistency and high-level performance at the start of the finals programme in Granada.
