ISSF Secretary General Alessandro Nicotra di San Giacomo and ISSF Financial Advisor Massimo Baiamonte participated in key meetings, including the Steering Committee on 10 March, the Working Group on Artificial Intelligence and (Anti-)Corruption in Sport on 25 March, and the Good Governance Task Force on 1 April.
Discussions focused on the promotion of the Sport Governance Benchmark & Guidelines Handbook, including its dissemination strategy and recent translations, as well as ongoing work to strengthen governance practices across sport.
The meetings also addressed new initiatives, such as the development of a factsheet on artificial intelligence and corruption in sport, aimed at supporting organisations in navigating emerging challenges.
Through its involvement in IPACS, the ISSF continues to contribute to international efforts to promote transparency, accountability and strong governance standards in sport.
