A breakthrough moment for Serbian shooting sport took place today at the ISSF World Cup Rifle / Pistol Munich 2026, as Andelija Stevanovic claimed her first-ever ISSF World Cup medal with victory in the 10m Air Rifle Women final.

The final, held at the Olympiaschießanlage at 14:30 local time, featured an exceptionally high technical level and remained close until the final shots.

Stevanovic finished with 252.3 points after a composed and highly consistent performance throughout the final. The Serbian athlete handled the pressure impressively during the elimination stages and secured a memorable first ISSF World Cup podium — and gold medal — of her career.
Japan’s Misaki Nobata claimed silver with 252.0 points, only three tenths behind the winner. Nobata remained among the leaders throughout the competition and produced an excellent final series to keep the fight for gold alive until the very end.
The bronze medal went to China’s Wang Zifei with 231.1 points. One of the rising stars of international rifle shooting, Wang added another important ISSF medal to her growing international career with another strong final performance.
Korea’s Ban Hyojin finished fourth after staying close to the podium positions throughout much of the final. France’s Oceanne Muller placed fifth and delivered one of the technical highlights of the competition with two perfect 10.9 shots during the final.

China’s Yu Jiaxin ended the event in sixth place, while India’s Sakshi Padekar finished seventh after qualifying to the final stages through a shoot-off.
Korea’s Kwon Yuna completed the final lineup in eighth position.

The ISSF World Cup Rifle / Pistol Munich 2026 continues with more Olympic rifle and pistol finals throughout the week.
