The International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) World Tour Target Sprint Munich 2026 officially begins today in Munich, Germany, with the first competitions scheduled to start at 11:00 local time.

The event, taking place from 28 to 31 May 2026, is being held alongside the ISSF World Cup Rifle / Pistol Munich 2026 and brings together athletes competing in one of the fastest-growing disciplines within the ISSF programme.

Ahead of the start of competition, all eight registered nations participated in the official pre-event training session, with a total of 40 athletes taking to the range and running course in final preparation for the opening races.
The first day of competition will feature the individual events, where athletes will combine precision air rifle shooting with middle-distance running in a discipline that demands both physical endurance and shooting accuracy under pressure.

Hosted at the Target Sprint Arena of the Royal Privileged Munich Shooting Society, the competition further reinforces the ISSF’s commitment to developing innovative and accessible formats capable of attracting new athletes and audiences to shooting sport worldwide.

The ISSF World Tour Target Sprint continues throughout the weekend with more races and international competition in Munich.
